Community Group Programs

Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority (ABCA) offers a wide variety of Outdoor Adventures which may cover badge components completely or in part during a two-hour session. Programs emphasize the natural aspects of the badge requirements through a variety of activities and nature props.  For a complete listing of programming options, please refer to the Scout and Guide Outdoor Adventure Brochure.

Programs are available at a number of our Conservation Area sites: Morrison Dam Conservation Area (year-round) just outside of Exeter; Rock Glen Conservation Area (spring and fall) in Arkona; The Ausable River Cut Conservation Area (formerly Thedford CA), (spring and fall), in Northville, Ont.  Education staff may also be able to accommodate programs at the following local Guiding and Scouting facilities: Camp Attawandaron, Camp Sylvan, Camp Kah-Ne-Do or Camp Dahinda.
